All about your candle
It is important to allow 3-4 hours on the first lighting of your candle to give a full well established melt pool. This will encourage a good wax memory and even burning. Extinguishing your candle before a full melt pool is achieved may cause your candle to tunnel.
Trimming your wick to 3 or 4 mm before subsequent relighting will ensure the candle burns effectively. If the wick is too long, it may cause the flame to flicker and smoke. Always keep your candle wax free of any debris such as matches or wick trimmings.
A pearlescent appearance on your glassware occurs in cooler environments. This is a completely normal characteristic of a pure natural wax. With temperature changes, wax expands as it heats up and contracts when it cools, in so pulling away from the glassware. It has no effect on the burning, bouquet or lifespan of your candle.
Flint luxury glassware and presentation tubes have many possible uses when your candle is finished. Please reduce waste. Re-think, re-use, re-cycle.
For safety, always burn your candle within sight, on a level heat proof surface away from any draughts or direct source of heat.
Keep your candle out of reach from children and pets.
Never allow any liquid or vapour to come into contact with your candle.
Ensure your wick is trimmed and the wax is free of any debris before relighting.
Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hour periods at a time.
Do not burn the last cm of wax at the bottom of the glassware.
CLP labels are firmly affixed to the base of the candle glassware. Each specific label can be viewed in the shop gallery.
